Ava Fouts
Hi everyone! I am so excited to be working as a Jr. Pitching Instructor for Coach D! I’m a senior at Sequoyah High School. I carry a 4.0 GPA in all honors and AP classes and I am in the top 12 of my 2023 class. I plan to pursue a nursing major at Berry College as a student-athlete. I signed my NLI on 11/09/22 and I'm so blessed to be a future Viking! I have been playing softball for 10 years and have been pitching for 9 years. I play travel ball for Atlanta Vipers - Wiggins and I have made the Sequoyah varsity team all 4 years. Throughout my years of travel ball, I have won the USSSA national championship (2017), placed top four in the USA nationals (2018), placed top 10 in the USSSA Elite Nationals (2018), and have had many 1st and 2nd place finishes with my Impact team in the last 2 years. In my 2020 high school season, I was a member of the 1st team all-region and received the gold glove award for pitching. This past season, my team made it to the sweet 16 and i was selected to the GADC All State games and received 1st Team All Region as a pitcher. I had a .906 ERA, 123 k’s, in 92 innings pitched for my senior year. I also broke 300 career strikeouts, ending my career at a total of 334 k’s. I enjoy teaching girls the game of softball and instilling confidence in their abilities as a pitcher. Pitching is very much a mental game; if you are mentally strong, you can beat any team. The physical part of pitching comes after hard work. I want to help girls achieve their highest potential both mentally and physically as pitchers! |

Hi!! My name is Megan Gregory and I am so excited to be working as a Jr. pitching instructor for Coach D! I’m in my senior year at Adairsville High School. I carry a 4.0 GPA in all honors, AP and Dual Enrollment Classes. I am in the top 15 of my 2023 class. I hope to pursue a nursing major and Spanish minor in college and continue my softball career. I have been playing softball since I was 6 years old but have only been pitching for 4 years. Because I was a late bloomer, I had to work very hard to get where I am today. I have been working with Coach D since the fall of 2020. I play travel ball for EC Bullets Bilz and began playing varsity for my school my freshman year. I previously played for Coach Ryan Carver and the GA Thunderbolts organization. Under them, I have been a 2 time USA World Series Champion and have had many other 1st and 2nd place finishes throughout my seasons. At the end of my senior season in school ball, I finished with over 100 strikeouts and an ERA of 2.817. While I’m not currently in college, I have been to several college camps across all divisions and have a good understanding of the ins and outs of college ball. I enjoy the mechanical and mental sides of softball. I love analyzing girls mechanics and teaching them how to better themselves. Mentally, I find confidence one of the most important aspects of the game. Teaching girls how to find confidence and strength in themselves, I think, is the most important part of the game. I can’t wait to help girls build their confidence and become great athletes! #goldfishmindset
