She Played Through the Pain—But You Saw the Whole Picture
Jul 19, 2025
Spring season was long.
Games. School. Travel. Stress.
She showed up, pitched through it, and smiled through the soreness.
But you saw it—the winces after innings. The limp the next morning. The frustration when her body didn’t move the way she needed it to.
Maybe it was an injury.
Maybe it was fatigue.
Maybe it was just being mentally worn out.
But you stood beside her anyway—ice packs, car rides, tears, and all.
If no one else says it, let me say it:
You’ve done a good job.
You supported her, carried her gear and her heart, and showed up in ways she’ll remember forever.
So now, as summer begins…
Pause.
Breathe.
Remind her that rest is not weakness. And healing—physically or mentally—is a power move, not a step back.
